I received numerous packages today.  All with "confirmation".  I
enquired at the post office while running errands...

"They know when we got it, we scan it when it comes off the truck and we get
to it some time later".

Nobody knows if I ever got them, but they know they were scanned and marked
delivered sometime today.

That's what they said, that's how it is...
