I am in possession of two of these guys, mounted in a 19 inch rack panel tray.
Googling does not produce much info beyond what I already know by virtue of having them.
These are crystal controlled single channel receivers, covering 2039 MHZ, solid state. My particular pair are crystalled for CHU on 3.330 and 7.335 (now obviously no good).
They work very well fed with a VFO signal 1.650 Mhz higher than the intended receive frequency. Controls include a preselector band range switch (2-4, 4-8, 8-16, 16-30Mhz), preselector tune, mode switch (PWR off/CW/SSB, AM, RTTY), audio gain, clarifier (which obviously only works if you use the included crystal), RF/AF meter switch, an edgewise meter and antenna peaking control. Also has headphone jack and AC power on indicator lamp. Runs on 120 VAC.
Any ideas on the era (I'm thinking mid-60s), general type of usage (ship or shore, etc), manufacturer?
Only one has a tag, it has the model number R-1735/URR, DOT CG-03248A, SN 580, Mfr 01649.
