Bruce,
Tried to reply direct but your mail got bounced back.
To keep from having to modify the amp, I would use an attenuator, i.e. dummy
load with a
sampler port to derive the 100mw necessary, you would be assured of a flat
50ohm load for the exciter and amp could retain it's 50 ohm input impedance.
