Hue,

I think it's the hand genny for the Wireless Set 48 (US made, as an
equivalent of the British Wireless Set 18, supplied to the Allied forces).
I'll look at my reference material. The seat (I know just checked today on
real hardware...) is the same as for the GRC-9 and BC-1306 generators.

In RADIO & TELEVISION NEWS for
Feb. 1949, pg 135, ad for Telemarine
Communications Co. of 9th Ave.,
NYC, there's a "Hand-Generator NEW
complete w/ seat pedestals and cranks
plug & cable and carrying bag. Output
162 volts at 60 mA, and 3.1 volts at
0.3 A completely filtered and voltage
regulated. Export packed four complete
units to a case. CASE (four complete
units) $30.00.

End quote. Drawing looks just like GN-35, GN-48, etc. BUT WHAT equipment is
this for? I am stumped! Some survival transceiver?
3 v at 0.3 A is not a very powerful radio!
That's something like 3 3S4's !
