[Milsurplus] National receiver ID

I just got a couple of photos from someone looking for an ID for this
National VHF military receiver (It evidently is not an HFS or RBT) -
He says " It looks to be a rack mountable, more elaborate version of the
National 1-10 VHF set. Has a speaker on the front panel and uses the
National PW dial and the same coil set as the 1-10. Here's a shot of the
panel and the back of the chassis. Much more elaborate than the civilian
1-10 but the RF tuning section appears to be the same .. Uses 6 octals plus
the two acorn tubes. The meter hole is original and I assume an "S" meter or
similar belongs there."
