But you can receive a 322 on a FM set like a monitoradio
Thot about bringing mine to Dayton for cold-war check in on 51. But
the 'spread spectrum' Mercury Walk 884a caused enuf fuss this year
The Mercury Walk may be the only xcvr to employ FM AFC. Because of
the lack of rx/tx interlock, it made qsos with these sets uncopyable
on the likes of PRC-10, etc. Incredibly NEAT freebie security feature.
Wonder if NSA/CIA ever caught on or just thot 'em primitive cheapies.
