Yo Mike
A bargain for Conan the barbarian. I've seen one of these & they're 1kw
audio amps
driven by a fedback gain cell (ne570?) to hold transformer'd-up output to
110v
I made a 40 watter outa a Sanken hybrid 40w, a ne570, & a 2716(?)
oscillator. 24v-2a
bridge-rect. ps. 12vac-115v 400 hz xfrmr. Still works.
But primitive compared to those 12V-in / 115v out $14.95 200w drug-store
inverters.
They don't seem able to go much obove 60hz tho. Scope'll show u each full
sine
divided into 128 (?) intervals of varying width to control output AND
simulate a sine.
So they really do their biz around a 7700 hz clock
Guy that can make 'em run @ 50 khz (400hz out) will be a genius in my
book, a gyro
gearloose in others'
mr aka aa4rm
