I use one of several switched capacitor type audio filters I have,
like the Autek and SCAF with very good results on the ARC-2, and no
internal mod is required, just plug it in to the audio output. I
manage to use mine in crowded band conditions on 80 M with the filter.
I haven't had my ARR-15 powered up yet, but I'll use the same method
when I do.
I used the audio filter with the Wireless Set 19 as well and it makes
the difference between hearing a particular station and hearing the
whole band at the same time...
