Why not build an 800 cycle power supply and use it intact? 800 cycle
power is cool. Using the original power supply eliminates all the
conversion problems, and also provides AM, CW, MCW, and sidetone.
I too have the MF unit, and it works flawlessly. Too bad we don't have
a ham band at 500 kc yet.
Double ended Bullet connectors can be used to make connectors. (Mouser
ME-159-1501) Cut off the plastic tube and they fit nicely on the banana
pins.
