I found a hacked center section for my TBW, the HF transmitter was in perfect unmodified condition when I got it, spent some time on Ebay and found a striped and hacked center section and built the 450 volt supply and filament supplies into that and used the original suppresser modulator. reports back from several stations say no noticeable difference between plate modulated transmitter and suppresser modulated rig, I notice big difference in power between suppresser use in AM from CW mode. carful adjustment of suppresser bias can make good power and modulation. If you don't have the center section think a high level plate modulator can be built external to transmitter. Their are pictures of the whole system on my web page at:
