Well the Thumb Screws and the Rubber Bumpers (feet) arrived today.

The Thumb Screws work. They are 10-32X3/8L with 3/8 Head. I don't like the way they look. When I look at the pictures they look like they should have a 5/8 Head. WOW, as I'm writing this I find in the tray in my desk drawer a Thumb Screw that is 10-32X3/8L with a 7/16 Head. So now I'm sure of the 5/8 Head.

The Feet look to be 1" diameter 1/5" high with a 10-32X7/16 screw molded in it.  It is shaped like a candy Crow with a small flat spot on the top.

So this weekend I'll try and make a mock-up and do the drawing.  Then to find a tin bender.
I'm thinking 14ga Steel (0.747" thick and a little over 6lbs in the sheet metals weight). So the whole Shock Tray should be less than 10lbs.

I've got some scrap aluminum very close to the proper dimensions to make a mock-up prototype....
