Folks,
After wading through several days(?) now of this thread with most
participants voicing their already well known ideals, lets let it go.
I am guilty at this moment of having and operating a modified
R-390A.It has the audio module modified by Bill K. (see the early E.R.
article).I have the original audio deck in a box under the bench.
The control box for my ZB-3 which is used with my original, unmodified
ARB is hand wired by me as I had to get all the parts to make it from
flea market junque boxes and the individual switches from W.Donzelli
some years ago.
I do have a BC-221 with a BNC connector too and my BC-348-C/-S has a
home brew P.S.that I built from parts stripped out of an abandoned
curbside TV.The gear works just fine and I sleep a sound sleep at night.
I have three hobbies and my biggest fear is fire, not just for my home
and family, but I do have an investment in my radio and VW and Marklin
HO trains. How to even appraise the value and convinse the insurence
company of its value?
Well Cheers (down the hatch)!
