This gut should join our group eah?
I think he did a good job.
IT was a pre-hacked unit.

He is converting his house to 12V solar.

A 12-volt home solar system (not grid tied) is easier to start up. Buy a
few pieces at a time. Lots of 12-volt devices and appliances are
avaliable at truck stops, auto and marine parts stores, RV dealers and
lighting supply stores. Don't forget home building supply stores and the
Internet. My setup is only experimental, but it can supply my lighting
needs. I use 12-volt fluorescent lights thruout my house. I find
self-ballasted compact fluorescent light to be the best. Lots of light,
low amp draw and each has it's own inverter inside. Simple to replace.
Seperate wiring supplies power to the 12-volt only fixtures, switches
and outlets (which are, sadly, cigarette lighter type). I use an
inverter (12v DC to 120v AC) for other loads. At this point in time I
don't have enough solar panels to run many 120v loads for long. Please
be safe and use a competent person to install and always use FUSES!
