Ditto on everything you said Mark. It takes a lot more thought and effort
to bring a junker up to working condition than to write disparaging emails
about it. Give the kid some credit. Maybe some day, with a little
encouragement, he'll restore one to original condition.
BTW, I also have a working PRD-1 running off of commercial dry batteries by
means of some adapter cables in the stock battery compartment.
