[Milsurplus] German Aircraft radio

 Receiver tunes like one of the TMC FFR  units.  Almost direct drive.  Interesting listening on an Aviation HF channel.  First one thought i heard "Gander" which is hearable from here in Arizona during the cooler season down on one of their 5 or 6 mc channels.  

Don't think i would ahve wanted to tune in to many closely spaced SSB sigs with this but otherwise stability seemed pretty good
