[Milsurplus] [ARC5] Coils and the winding thereof

Hello-
Polystyrene makes a good low loss coil form and the sample, storage jars
as used in labs make good forms. The jars are straight-sided and can be
bought in various OD's and heights. The screw-on lids are ordered
separately, and since not needed no money is wasted on them.
I cannot remember the company right now but I ordered several dozen of
two sizes (for HBR, etc type forms) and the cost was very reasonable.
Possibly these jars could be mounted to a plug-in base to make plug-in
forms, but my use for them is to drill a small hole in bottom center and
mount them to the chassis.
    Just a note.

    Thanks, WA5THJ
