John,
According to the schematic in TM 11-310, the ON-OFF switch is a DPST. One of
the NO contacts goes to B-. The other goes to the AC-DC switch. In the DC
position, it goes to A-. In the AC position it goes to fuse FS1 which then
goes to one side of the AC line. The movable contacts are tied together or the
original switch may have been built with only one physical terminal for the
function. When the switch is ON and the AC-DC switch is in the AC position, one
side of the AC line does go to the negative B-battery terminal through the
switch, and to a ground symbol, which I assume is chassis since there's no note
saying otherwise.
The other side of the AC line goes to fuse FS2 then to R26 and the 115-230
switch.
I don't see any notes in what's in TM 11-310 indicating any changes related
to Order Numbers.
