Thanks for the procedure.

All -
Interesting I was applying  this procedure outlined to the Low band 
still cannot get enough capacitance out of the circuit using the 
corrector at the low end calibration points.

The Low end coil had several cracks in the bees wax covering. Printed 
spec for the Coil is 7.06 mH measure 7.27 mH out of circuit. The 
temporary removal of the temperature compensating coil did not change 
the value by much .   

Suspected reasons for the increased L :
  Moisture may have seeped in to the windings through the cracks in the 
Bees Wax coating causing increased L.
  Bees Wax covering has changed consistency causing increased L.

Suggested corrective action?
  Remove the Bees Wax coating ?
