I came across material stating this was an XAB/HRO setup, later named model
DT in production.
There are two photos of the XAB/HRO on my page about my "namesake station",
NYW - Navy HFDF "Station T"
http://www.virhistory.com/navy/nyw.htm
It was evidently a "portable" Adcock-Gordon setup designed at NRL - at
Station Tare it was on skids so that if the Lighthouse Service people
complained, the Navy could drag it back onto their own territory.
cheers,
Nick K4NYW
