Hi Mark,

The ratings are not for the coil at all. Contacts have different ratings
for AC or DC and relay contacts are no exception. If you AC superimposed
on DC the currents may have to be derated but most of us are not going
to have high levels of both on our contacts. That is most likely to be
in low level receiver circuits.
