I've been going through the parts bins looking for 28V relays for my
ART-13 supply.
I found one marked as follows:
B.A.C. 10-888-1
Relay 4PDT
10A 24-30 VDC
15A 115V 400 C
54329-A
Guardian Elect. Mfg Co.
I'm not quite sure how to interpret the specifications (which is for
the contacts, which for the coil)
The coil resistance is 93.6 ohms.
I think the relay is powered by 28V, which would draw 300 mA. The
contact ratings being 15A 115V 400 Hz..
If it was the other way around, the coil would draw 1.3A, and that
seems a bit much.
Guardian Electric has a web site, but no info is available, nor are
emails returned.
Also, I'm now sure how the 400 Hz rating on contact impacts me; the
contacts need to handle 28V 10A DC for my supply.
