[Milsurplus] FW: BC-348 mods

Guys,

The BC-348 he has was modified already by someone else for internal AC
supply. So some mod's have already been performed.

He said as well to me that "I will not do anything that is not completely
reversible."

Thought I'd throw that in there before all of us got excited about modifying
a truly minty fresh stock BC-348. I'd already ascertained he had a
previously mod'd unit before I offered to find him some improvements.
Wouldn't have done that with a purely stock unit for sure.

We all cringe at that thought.

Just wish I had time to tinker with my own BC-348Q I have stored in the
garage. One of those many 'round to it' projects.

Thanks for the comments for John, I've forwarded them on to him.

Guys,

Can you steer John in the right direction of any source materials?
Hopefully some that don't hack it up.

Tnx,

Ralph,

I have a mint BC-348-R and wish to upgrade performance. I remember (from my
early days, 1951), there were mods published to improve performance.

Can you refer me to the appropriate sources?
