I beg your indulgence for this somewhat offtopic
post.
Yes, you read that right. I have a size L, Hawaii shirt,
genuinely made in Hawaii U.S.A., new with original
tags still on it, bought at Ft. DeRussy Museum in
Honolulu in Sept. 2008. It is color tan, with a design
of USAAF airplanes on it, 4 or 5 types, couple fighters
and then B-25 and B-26. My size is M and this one
"almost" fits me but M is more my exact size, and i'm
not exactly hurting for Hawaii shirts, while the climate
where i live on the Oregon coast doesn't have a whole
lot of Hawaii shirt days in the year. This is a $25 -$30
shirt. I bought it the day before leaving and did not have
time to return it. I can mail it to a person who would like
to have it, for postage only, which will be in the $5 - 10
range, maybe toward the lower end, as it really doesn't
weigh much. Serving suggestion: wear to hamfest or
military radio meets or gun shows or while just operating
your USAAF radios. I normally wear 38, 15 1/2 size and
this shirt is just a size up from that. -Hue Miller K7HUE
( I wonder if they'd do a small run of shirts showing
BC-348, BC-375, ART-13, ARC-5, etc. ?? Maybe i'll
look into that.....)
