Ray,
No apologies necessary. I welcomed the chance to make a really clever
play on words when I responded:
>FWIW, it's "Morrow", not "Marrow", but I'll make no bones about that.
Get it?? 'Marrow' vs. 'bones'??? Sometimes I crack myself up! :-)
I apologize if expression of my personal interests in vintage military
gear seemed to imply that other interests, including purely ham radio
usage, should not be discussed. That is completely opposite of what
I think. I'd like to see much more traffic and discussion on this
and the arc5 list, not creation of limitations. (The only postings
that I'd prefer to never see are those cryptic messages referring to
ebay auction items that provide **NO** indication of what the item is.)
I will say that **books** about the history of vintage military items
(radios, vehicles, firearms, etc.) should stick only to the military
usage of the items, IMHO. I don't want to read a book about how
somebody thought they could make a better deer rifle from M1903
Springfield, or a sideband exciter from a T-18/ARC-5.

Mike / KK5F
