David Stinson, an overall good guy and one of the real Type K
(SCR-274-N, ARA/ATA and AN/ARC-5) experts anywhere and everywhere, has
written several times about running the transmitters as is without any
extra regulation and without chirp, click or other unpleasantness.
His work makes good reading and is quite educational.
