Rough handling may be the least of your worries. An Ebay vendor mailed a package to me on the 17th, enroute from Detroit, MI to Bellevue, WA (east of Seattle).
Last time I checked tracking, it had overshot the west coast by a huge margin, and ended up at the sorting center in Honolulu, HI. I'm assuming it's on its way back to where it should be, but I'm not very optimistic at this point.
For those who did order manuals (not me), I would say waiting until after Christmas would be a much safer bet.
