Why dose the Russian US-9 (copy of BC-348) start with a US designation when most other Russian receivers start with an “R” like the R-311or RPS that replaced the US-9? Also interesting that a lot of development went into the RPS receiver along the lines of better IF filter, huge complex mechanical tuning drum and my favorite the built in tube tester but at the end of the day it’s just a repackaged BC-348Q would have thought that they could have used more modern tubes with the only seven pin one being the HFO and not the same old line up of octals from the 348 era.
