I've seen several products dated with the year then the day of the
year in numeric form from 1 to 365 (366) rather than month and day.
Now, is that the construction date of the ship, construction date of
the radio or date of installation?  Or did someone just have an extra
tag from somewhere and decided to put it on just to confuse people in
the future?  :-)
