Greetings:
I *think* this is my first post to this reflector, but I've been following
along here for some time. This reflector is a great resource and I have
learned alot from it. I live in St. Paul, Minnesota where I have a small
collection of military radios that I use as much as possible- (indoors
lately... it's too cold outside). My collection largely centers around
portable gear, which made the TBX-4 a very interesting find.
Anyway, if you saw the TBX-4 on a certain auction site recently, that's what
this email is about. I unfortuneately wasn't able to bid on both the radio
and power supply. I may regret that later. I'm looking for a manual for this
radio primarily... but if you happen to have an extra power supply for it,
shoot me an email, please. I saw the TBX-8 manual on BAMA, but I've learned
that there are significant differences in these radios. I also saw the one
for sale at Fair, which I will buy if I can't dredge one up this way. Does
anyone out there have a manual they can send my way? I will happily
reimburse you if needed for copies, postage, etc. Also, if you have some
accessories, power supplies, etc. that are suitable, please let me know.
At the very least, I am looking for the pinout of the power connectors
(voltage, current, etc., so I can improvise a power supply)
Thanks for the bandwidth.
Regards,
Andy K0AJL
