It may not be a scam, but a hell of a good deal for the sellers. I am not at
home right now and cannot count how many hundred of that style diode I have.
Including the scarcer Reverse(R) ones. I am writing this from my hotel room
in Longview, TX. When I landed in Dallas on Wednesday it was considerably

I don't think this is a scam. I don't see any rational audiophool use for
these as they are very standard microwave mixer diodes.
I do think the price is high, but I've not bought any in a long time, so
can't be sure. Note also, these are the less common "R" type of the 1N21F
which may have made the list price somewhat higher.
Steve is a good guy, and fair IMO.I've bought several nice items from him.
