Sort of. The 1602, best as I can tell, is a mix of Nova and Eclipse
instruction sets. The main changes are around memory mapping to allow more
core than a Nova would support.

loader nothing else resided in the system and all the programming was
developed on a separate system, compiled and dumped on the 1602 by paper
tape.
One of mne has a 9 track, 1600 BPI tape drive. The Nova boot is 32 words
long and wouls boot from any device, paper tape or mag tape or hard disk.
I'm very familiar w/ Novas.
Would speculate the 1602 was used for reading and generating transponder
code for radar displays.
Don't know. The AMRAAM was a prototype, stand off, nuke missile, I think.
This stuff was from the unsuccessful bidder. There was a lot of associated
RADAR hardware, now in parts, and a spiffy TWT amp, in a tank of Freon.
I have a head for the 1602 but nothing else. There are

The connectors are Deutsch and a real bitch to work on. Been there.
Special tools. $$$$$. Luckily I got the cable all made up.

The panel can be attached or remoted, maybe 10' to 20'. I think attaching
it takes special hardware I don't have.
Best,
-John
