Glenn,
saw your post about being on FBMs well here's a question for you.. I got in
a surplus lot what was labeled a valve and in a big wood crate and weighing
1500 lbs. the antenna mast for the WLR-1 countermeasures system. its all
complete with the spinning df arrays and the omnis. I made a pallet for it
to stand up. but need any info you can tell me. due to the weight and the
way its assembled it would be a nightmare to reverse engineer. I have some
microwave receivers and some PPI scopes so I could easily make it work. just
need to figure out how to mount it and wire it. it has a tag from being
removed from USS Alexander Hamilton at pugent sound here are some crappy
phone pictures. of the whole unit and the top removed. figured you might
know something about it. best I can figure it covers from 100mc - 12ghz
