I have a APS-20 antenna correction gyro assembly that I bought in Dayton this year. A truly amazing gyro and amplifier assembly that operates from 115 volts 400 cycle and apparently compensated for attitude errors in the aircraft during climbs and turns. Have had it operating on the bench and is fun to watch and play around with. Have done some research on the APS-20 and am thinking that although most things written about the system label it as a primitive post WW2 system it appears to have been used much longer and must have had many field modifications and improvements such as the gyro compensation assembly. This unit is dated 1954 and uses both miniature tubes and 400 cycle choppers, in operation the gyro snaps along in 10 degree increments in a manner that almost appears mechanical but it's all by servo correcting circuits. Do you have a web page or any pictures of your system?

G'day all,

APS-20 (or A or B variants)
APS-31

A friend of mine here in Australia has most, if not all, the components
of both of these radar systems. He also has most of the cabling.
However, we are in need of Interconnection diagrams for both of these
systems, if possible, so that all the component units can be connected
together for static display purposes.

If anyone has access to these diagrams and can scan, we would be very
grateful. Obviously, if a pdf of either/both these manuals is available,
we would like to hear about it, please.

Cheers
Dave
