Hmmm ... memory serving (which it probably isn't), the Type K-derived
command equipment wanted to see something like a 15-20 ohm capacitive
load.  (Dave or Robert - correct me on this as needed.)  I believe the
Model D-derived equipment was the same or close to it.  The
implication is that this same trick should work for these sets as
well.

Er, shouldn't it?
