[Milsurplus] Sleeving

Was several posts a while back on sleeving in making up of cables.  Thought
would add a couple comments. You can get ‘split loom’ sleeving in a couple
of sizes at Radio Shack if the particular store handles it. Also NAPA has it
here.  Not real flexible, but is black and easy to work with.  They also
have spiral wrap stuff.

 

Just got my new Antique Electronic Supply catalog.  Gads they have a bunch
of new stuff.  A lot of new transformers and scads of pots they never had
before.  Saw where they have the ‘expando mesh’,  1 inch size.  That is
pretty near to what a lot of military cables use. (along with custom cars
etc)

 

Have no connection with AES other than am a customer.
