Joe,

This is a complex pice of equipment, remote diagnosis of problems is  
difficult.  First off, do you have documentation?  There are a couple  
of manuals available, one with an accompanying package of schematics  
and a later version with fold outs.  The test meter is a 25 ma unit  
and input voltage, PA grid and PA cathode current all read nominally  
at half scale in normal operation.  Originals are HARD to find, having  
slightly radioactive dials.

Good first line maintenance trick is to reseat all the connectors on  
the various internal modules in the set.
