Tobacco Tax was a FBI div'n.  For years I thot the fone
co.

Know ret'd FBI who's a ham.  He recognized rig big time &
told story of stake-out where wx cooled fast & 12' whip
began collapsing section by section.  Cover blown.

Those Thunder Road days guys loved their work because they got
to keep the captured cars.  Nice incentive

Bet they stayed low hf for same reason Stillwell did in Burma, etc.
To get out of the woods' canopy.
