Marty, i think late 1940s to mid-1950s and not much later. Even the 
USFS was going to FM in the 1950s.I cannot understand why the
low frequency band when pre-USFS radios had pretty much gone
to 30+ Mc/s AM before the FM products appeared. If you think 
Portland, OR, that would probably be Radio Specialties Company.
Morrow also built many USFS radios but i think Morrow was a little
later and somehow it doesn't quite look Morrow to me. -Hue Miller
