Part1 of the SCR-694 Training Film:
German radio on the left, Torn Fu.d2 ( similar in purpose to our TBY -
note 2 separate tuning dials - and similar frequency range - but
MUCH larger and required a separately cabled battery box of same
size - so a 2 man load. Radio on right, 5WS, a five-watt transmitter
to go with receiver Torn E.b. or Spez445, four-tube regenerative.
Japanese radio is vehicular, VHF, superregen receiver, type
(i think i recall) Mark 305. At about 1:49 in, i believe you have a side
view of the transmitter section showing the "short 807 tube" equivalent
