[Milsurplus] ANNOUNCEMENT: Dayton Hamvention Saturday Fun Nets

The Dayton Hamvention is just around the corner, so here's the
announcement for the three Saturday nets we've been holding each
year. Focus is always on military sets, but everyone who can hit
the mode and frequency for the particular net is welcome.

Saturday, 16 May 2009, in and around the flea market...

AM Net: starting at 12 Noon local time on 3885 kHz AM. Joe WA4VAG 
will be net control. He always brings an unusual mil set to 
call the net with. I can't tell you what it's gonna be because 
even Joe doesn't know until a few days before the event!

HFpack Net: starting at 1 PM local on 18157.5 KHz USB. Yers truly 
is planning on running that one pedestrian mobile from the 
PRC-1099.

Cold War Net: starting at 2 PM local on 51.0 MHz FM. John K9WT 
will do the honors as net control on this one.

After the HFpack Net, meet under the Hara Arena entrance awning 
on the west side of the main building for an eyeball session 
and pictures. 

AS ALWAYS, I ask that people not gather until *AFTER* I close 
the net. Try to move around in the flea market while the net is 
going on. No use in everyone cramming together in one big 
front-end-frying de-sense session!

For the AM and Cold War Nets, meet back at WA4VAG's space (3415) 
for an eyeball session and pix.
