FORSALE:
AN/GRM-55 Test Set For PRC-25, 47, 77 Military Ham & Amateur Shortwave
Radios
Yes, it works with the 47's and 77's It can also be used as a comprehensive
circuit tester with many other military, ham & amateur radios with little or
no adaptation required. Non military shortwave radios will not supply the
power to the unit so an independant DC power supply must be used to power
the test set.
See the following URL For technical details of the PRC-25, this test set and
for correct DC voltage to power this unit if an independant power supply is
needed for your radio.

This test set is NOS (new old stock). It comes with the manual (new and
sealed), The original testing and calibration tags, all cables and
accessories in it's original mfg packaging.
Many of the units have multiple dates on their attached test and calibration
tags. These are NOT from field use but rather from military designated test
and calibration shcedules to insure that replacement units are fully
functional prior to issue into field service.
Purpose
The GRM-55 Test Set is originally designed to stimulate the PRC-25 with RF
and audio signals and to measure the signals present on the module test
points. The results of each test appear as a go (green light) or no-go (red
light). Included with the test set is a cable to allow accessing the audio
and power lines of the PRC-25 POWER connector that also provides DC voltage
to the GRM-55. The box on this cable also has a jumper plug like the one on
the radio so you should be able to power both the GRM-55 and the radio using
any external source that has the correct plug and voltage. There are no
internal batteries, none are required.
Not sold out of USA. ( No Exceptions )
