Hue -
I think that a Symmetrical sweep of +/-10kHz is low enough to get what I
need?
HP8601A
Symmetrical sweep above and below selected front panel frequency setting
from .01Mhz to 1.0 Mhz sweep for low band of 0.1 Mhz to 11 Mhz ; and
from 0.1 Mhz to 10Mhz sweep on high band of 1.0Mhz to 110 Mhz . A sweep
vernier adjusts the sweep width from 0 to a calibrated position.
2 units are complete not calibrated.
1 unit needs a power switch button, otherwise complete.
1 unit much older needs a replacement of power connector, has old round
3 prong type power cable, will change out male AC socket to use the
standard Computer type power cord. The unit is also missing a small
plastic finger hold on band "slider/throw" switch.
Problem 1:
All the out put meters rest at "Zero" left marking with power off so
meters are mechanically sound. When a unit is powered up and output
vernier is cranked CCW all Left needle does not rest at far left mark
"Zero" -? DB on meter, with Zero RF volts measured at output.
Plan to first check the reg. power supply voltage of 20V. Check the
oil ;-} Then send off to get calibrated.
Chuck a member of the hp_agilent_equipment at yahoogroups.com has given me
a heads up on what to look for on the meter adjustment.
Down loaded the manual from BAMA thanks to responses from members of
milsurplus at mailman.qth.net hp_agilent_equipment at yahoogroups.com groups.
May Thanks all-
Hutch
