I've used the 1031, Panoramic and Heath panadaptors with RAO, AR-88 and 
HQ-180.   No big deal, merely pick up some signal at the plate of the first mixer 
thorough a small cap (20 - 100 pf or so).   Found these gadgets useful for 
keeping an eye on activity the 10M AM window a couple of cycles ago.   Occupancy 
too dense on the lower bands and all one saw was "grass."   On the 1031 
I seem remember there were some restrictions on the type and length of the 
pickup cable.....
