Why not pair your new BC-342 with the ART-13 or are you shooting for total authenticity?
If the latter, the only transmitter that comes to mind would be the BC-325, a very rare bird and
larger/heavier than the 610.  If you're willing to cheat a little you could pair your 342 with a
BC-191 which normally ran along side the 12 volt BC-312 in various SCR-*** configurations.
The 13 is a much better transmitter, though.

As mentioned in a prior post, I've acquired a BC-342-N. I'd like to
get a military transmitter to run with it. I know the BC-610 was the
mate for the 342, but that's out of my price range, so I'm open for
ideas on a trade, plus or minus some cash etc.

I have a pair of ART-13's on the pile for restoration, and I don't
need both of them. The ART-13 up for trade can be viewed at
http://www.k3msb.com/art13/art13.html -- the dynamotor is NOT
included.
