[Milsurplus] Paki troops radio ?

The earlier antenna was the AN-131.  It is made up of seven sections each 
about 17" long.  Allowing about an inch for the six joints that would make the 
assembled length about 113".  Give or take.  I don't recall ever actually 
measuring one (or if I did, I didn't record it) but 110" is certainly close..  The 
AT-271 (or at least early ones) was an AN-131 with a short male by female 
adaptor on the bottom and a new decal.  The AT-271A has only the later threads.  I 
can't say for certain (because I never examined the ones I have or have had 
with the intent of answering this question) whether or not any AT-271's were 
actually built from scratch with only the later thread.  But I seem to recall 
that the internal cord holding the disassembled sections together as a unit was 
changed.  So maybe.
