That's certainly a possibility, Mike.  However, other photos from the 
manual makes it appear that many of the photos were taken during 
equipment installation.   Note various photos on the web page showing 
missing connectors and cabling, even a few instruments not installed.  
It doesn't shoot down your conclusion, but does suggest some caution is 
prudent.
