[Milsurplus] DW

Isn't the DW just the DU-1 with a longer stem, about 30 inches
long? I had one, swapped to Brad for a DU, because for non-
aircraft use, with long loop stem unsecured, the thing is justunwieldy
and possibly stresses the control unit loop base.  
I thought i'd seen at least the base, controller unit, in a photo of the
interior of a PBM, but i may be dreaming....
