[Milsurplus] Need R28/ARC-5 VHF Rcvr Parts Set

Hello Everyone,

 

I'm trying to get together an ARC-5 VHF set up and need some parts for my
R28/ARC-5. Some long ago Navy tech. didn't shim the front motorized tuning
unit module properly to the rest of the sets gear train and the resulting
binding caused excessive wear to one of the soft bronze gears by the hard
steel gear that drives it. The wear is to the point where the gears no
longer mesh at all at certain points in the rotation. The easiest thing to
do is to swap the whole tuning mechanism out if I can find a parts set. I
have the receiver operational on 144.25, 144.36 144.45 and it would be great
to have the channel selection working. If anyone can help with a parts set
please let me know off list at pehamers at worldpath.net  I could also use a
set of side covers
