[Milsurplus] mast poles, follow-up

I've got both types poles here.  Use 5 of the fibreglass ones to support the middle of my 30 meter dipole.


Bought 3 bags of them back probably 15 or so years ago at a surplus
place on the west side of Tucson.  They had hundred of those bags
stacked out by one of their buildings.  Don't remember which it
was but i think it was the gibreglass ones that had the 3 legged
paddles that you could swing around in a circle.  Was told that
they were indeed for camoflage support.  I've still got two of the
bags out here so i could look up numbers if anyone needs the
info.  BTW, they were selling the bags for $20 eas full of ploes,
ropes for guying, one had the metal spikes and both had the guy
rings.  No hammer though.  One also had the piece that is
driven into the ground (insulated) that the mast set on.  My
fibreglass units have the collar on one end.
