Subject: [Milsurplus] What's with the R-96/ SR
I am going by memory here, but there was a ship-type
receiver known as the R-96 that was kind of an all-wave
type receiver with no bandspread tuning, like many ship's
receivers. I believe however this was an Army receiver,
that it was in the Army catalog. What was this receiver's
intended use, in what deployment? -Hue
